Gable Holyoak
Meet the most creative mind from Southeast Idaho. Gable Holyoak, born at the turn of the century, was raised in the small town of Thatcher, Idaho and grew up with a passion for storytelling and the arts. He is notorious for his literacy in movie quotes and his skill in making guacamole. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a bachelor's degree in illustration. His debut fantasy novel, The Aurora Order: Secret of the Shroud, was published on May 28, 2024.
My Story
Storytelling is the lifeblood of humanity. It is what separates us from every other living species on earth. Stories have shaped our society, our culture, and our faith for centuries, and they will continue to do so. In a world where values and morality are crumbling, we need more stories that will inspire goodness and spread truth. That is my mission. I want to create stories and art that edify and inspire my fellow travelers along the road of life. God gives us all gifts to benefit each other, and this is the gift He has given to me. I don't just write, draw, and paint because it's fun; I do it because it's who I am. I know I'm not alone in the pursuit of better media. The world is thirsty for stories that can be a guiding light to them, and my hope is that my stories will in some way lead those who read them back to the greatest of all Lights.
